What is mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a treatment that has been gaining popularity in the USA over the past decade – but it certainly is not new! Mesotherapy was pioneered by the French physician, Dr. Michel Pistor, over 50 years ago. Mesotherapy is the practice of delivering microinjections of conventional medications into the middle layer of the skin. Originally, medical conditions such as osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and chronic pain were treated. Over the years, mesotherapy evolved to include treatments for aesthetic purposes like cellulite reduction, reduction of small areas of fat & body contouring, and even wrinkle reduction.

The problems with mesotherapy:
Mesotherapy consists of injecting medications to change the body with many needles (can be anywhere between 8-300 injections depending on the size of the area and condition being treated).
